Weereewa Festival

Weereewa is the local name for Lake George, an often empty lake about 30 minutes from Canberra. The Weereewa Festival is a celebration of the lake with arts, food, workshops and forums, and is held every two years.

I designed and built the new website for the 2010 festival. The site is built upon wordpress, so is easy to maintain and can be updated quickly and easily by the festival team. It has paypal bookings for some of the events, and a special google map with all the event locations plotted on it. What's more, it's reuseable! When the time comes for the next festival, only minor tweaks will transform it into a whole new website.
